Here's a brief update on my health issues. I've been having abdominal pain for a few weeks so I called +he doctor and she had me come in for a CT scan. I did that last Friday and went in to talk with her today. When comparing this most recent CT scan to previous ones it looks like the tumor has grown slightly. So we talked about the options for treatment. There are three clinical trials that I qualify for right now or we could always try traditional/standard chemotherapy. I've read through the information related to all those treatment options and now I'm trying to determine the risk/benefit ratio for each. Some of the possible side effects are pretty scary. I need to talk to the Hubby and I'll probably call my sister and see what she thinks, although that's hard to share all that info over the phone. So I'll let you know what I decide. At least the abdominal pain has subsided a little and I was able to eat some oatmeal and veggie soup today.
You've gotta take it one day at a time.:)
Okay on to happier subjects - how about a FREEBIE - can I get a YEAH?
